To get more information about fundraising events for Epilepsy Research UK (ER), you can contact their London office phone number 0208 747 5024 or call their mobile-based helpline telephone number 07484 333667.
Epilepsy is a disease condition wherein the brain goes haywire when electrical activity overloads it. This can be observed as seizures, namely the epileptic seizures that render a person unable to move with coherent thought and succumb to convulsions and muscle spasms. A person with epilepsy is someone who no longer has a normal life.
Though they may succeed in life, the anxious anticipation for the next seizure episode will always hang above them like a dark cloud. They will always fear for their safety because they may be triggered any time. Because it is such a debilitating condition, research into the very nature of the disease and its treatment is undertaken by benevolent research groups such as Epilepsy Research UK, or simply put – ER.
